संघ का स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय पूरे देश में सभी खेल स्टेडियमों और सरकारी जमीनों में सार्वजनिक जिम और योग केंद्र स्थापित कर रहा है, जहाँ आम जनता प्रशिक्षित प्रशिक्षकों की मदद के बिना अपने स्वास्थ्य को ठीक कर सकती है। यह उत्तर प्रदेश से लाया गया है। इसके लिए नियम, कानून और नियम विकसित करने की प्रक्रिया भी शुरू हो गई है। दरअसल, पूरे देश में योग केंद्रों और जिमों में हिमस्खलन होता है, लेकिन मुख्य समस्या इसकी गुणवत्ता है, क्योंकि इसके अधिकांश ऑपरेटर-प्रशिक्षकों को प्रशिक्षित नहीं किया जाता है। इससे लोगों को नुकसान हो रहा है। क्योंकि कोई कानूनी प्रतिबंध नहीं हैं, देश के सभी कोनों में अनधिकृत संस्थानों का हिमस्खलन है, जो ठीक से पढ़ाने और व्यायाम करने के बजाय उपभोक्ताओं की जेब पर नजर रखते हैं।

विशेष रूप से जिम में, यांत्रिक व्यायाम के साथ, पावर बूस्टर दवाएं, पूरक और जानवरों को दिए जाने वाले विशेष उत्प्रेरक इंजेक्शन उचित मूल्य पर बेचे जाते हैं। सभी शहरों में, ऐसे मामले सामने आ रहे हैं जिनमें उन्होंने कई खतरनाक दवाएं और इंजेक्शन लगाकर अपनी जान ले ली। योग केंद्रों की स्थिति और भी बदतर है, क्योंकि अधिकांश प्रशिक्षकों को योग का बुनियादी ज्ञान भी नहीं है और वे कुछ सामान्य आसन कहकर अपना कर्तव्य पूरा कर सकते हैं। इन संस्थानों में जाना और दिन में दो घंटे काम करना बुरा नहीं है। लेकिन इसके लिए, प्रशिक्षित प्रशिक्षकों का उन्मुखीकरण विशेष रूप से महत्वपूर्ण है। मानक और खराब गुणवत्ता के बिना सस्ते उपकरणों के गलत उपयोग के कारण, मांसपेशियों और नर्वस स्ट्रेचिंग, रीढ़ या कमर में असुविधा, जोड़ों का दर्द जैसे मामलों की संख्या दिन-प्रतिदिन बढ़ जाती है।

इसी तरह, खतरनाक दवाएं और रासायनिक इंजेक्शन, जो शरीर सौष्ठव के नाम पर उत्प्रेरक के रूप में लिए जाते हैं, न केवल हानिकारक हैं, बल्कि घातक भी हैं। दुर्भाग्य से, हमारे देश में विशेष और प्रभावी कानूनों की कमी के कारण सब कुछ दिलचस्प नहीं है। जिस तरह योग और जिम की शुरुआत करते समय कुछ सावधानियां बरतनी चाहिए, उसी तरह की सावधानियों का पालन भी उन्हें छोड़ते समय करना चाहिए। और ये सभी प्रशिक्षक और डॉक्टर इसे बहुत अच्छी तरह से कह सकते हैं। यह अच्छा है कि विकसित देशों की तरह, भारत सरकार ने भी इस दिशा में काम करना शुरू कर दिया है।

इस व्यवसाय को नियंत्रित करने के लिए, न केवल मानक स्थापित किए जाते हैं, बल्कि पंजीकरण, मान्यता और योग्यता को एक नियामक संस्था के निर्माण द्वारा अनिवार्य किया जाता है। इससे, उपभोक्ता अपनी प्रामाणिकता, गुणवत्ता और सुविधाओं के साथ-साथ ऑपरेटरों और प्रशिक्षकों की योग्यता के बारे में जानकारी प्राप्त करेंगे।
